Fat Loss 4 Idiots is a dieting program available online that promises quick weight loss. "Lose 9lbs in 11 Days" says their website slogan. This is definately quite a big promise. Is there anything behind this promise or is Fat Loss 4 Idiots a Scam?

THE BASIC IDEA

The basic idea behind the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet program is a concept referred to as "Calorie Shifting". "Calore shifting" basically says that you eat a healthy, normal amount of calories every day but become more aware of how you distribute your calorie intake over the day. In simple terms, it means eating smaller meals but eating more of them. This idea is different than low calorie diets (eat as little as you can), low fat diets (eat as little fat as you can) or low-carb diets (eat as little carbs as you can). "Calorie Shifting" diets are not based on severe restrictions of calories, fats, or carbohydrates.

The concept is that you continue to eat a good, healthy number of calories daily, as well as a normal amount of all nutrients, but you don't overload your body at any meal. If you don't overload your body, it doesn't get any excess food at each sitting to go and store as fat.

In addition to storing less fat, calorie shifting is supposed to trigger the release of fat burning hormones which burn up the fat you currently have.

IS IT A SCAM?

It is definitely not a scam made specifically to cheat you out of your money. There is a fair amount of science behind the calorie shifting idea and there are certainly many positive testimonials to be found all over the internet from people who have used the diet successfully. BUT, this does NOT mean that this diet is a perfect fit for each and every dieter or even that you are definately going to "Lose 9lbs in 11 Days".

There are many differences from one person to the next and therefore no single diet can be the correct way to go for every dieter.

IS IT A GOOD FIT FOR YOU?

If you are looking into this program or any other, ensure that you read up on it so that you are clear about how is works and what diet changes you will be expected to make. If you are clear about the expectations and the mechanism before you begin and also if you can commit to taking action as described, you are much more likely to get to your dieting goal.
